Kirsten has been practicing in Wetaskiwin since 2006, and she loves it!  She excels at treating pain whether from a recent issue or something chronic, she knows the importance of getting to the root of the problem.  She has taken additional training in treating musculoskeletal issues.  She loves combining an eastern and western approach to acupuncture. Kirsten is available for treatments at both Leduc and Wetaskiwin clinics.

Rebecca Beller

Registered Acupuncturist

Becca graduated from Macewan Acupuncture program with Distinction in 2018. Her focus is on treating the body holistically and getting to the root of the problem. She incorporates needling, cupping, Gua sha and electroacupuncture into her treatments! She loves getting to know her patients and helping them become the healthiest version of themselves! Becca is available for treatments at both Leduc and Wetaskiwin clinics.

Kathleen Potts

Registered Acupuncturist

Kat is a registered acupuncturist with training as a massage therapist. Her specialization is in mental health but she works with all ailments such as pain, digestion, fertility, hormonal imbalances and sleep.  


Kat was a massage therapist for 8 years before becoming an acupuncturist which has given her a very good foundation in musculoskeletal issues and pain.  She also works with all walks of life and believes everyone no matter age, race, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic status or religion deserve equality in healthcare including natural health modalities. 


Kat enjoys being outside no matter what the weather is and staying active.  She loves spending time with her family no matter what they are doing. Whether they are staying in watching movies or out on the town.

Tarynn Dux RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Tarynn was born and raised in Wetaskiwin. She attended the U of A in 2008 for where she studied Kinesiology and MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in Edmonton to obtain her 2200 Hour RMT Diploma. She has a passion for seeing clients meet their goals of living an active and pain free life. Tarynn is available for treatments at our Wetaskiwin clinic.


Breeanna Blakeburn RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Breeanna is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated in 2019 from Makami College from the 3000hr Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy program. She believes that massage therapy can be a great tool in the relief of stress, pain and to help improve the overall quality of life. She is experienced in deep tissue therapeutic massage, as well as dynamic cupping. She is excited to help clients live pain free.

Breeanna is at our Wetaskiwin location five days a week!


Tamara Nemec RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Tamara finished her massage training at the Alberta Institute of Massage in June of 2022 and is excited to continue her learning in her practice.  She believes every client should walk out feeling better than when they arrived, whether the treatment is targeting relaxation or pain management and an open line of communication between the client and herself is the best way to achieve this.  She is trained in cupping which can be added to any treatment. She is available at our Wetaskiwin Clinic.


April Brosius RMT

Greetings, my name is April and I am a recent graduate from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy in Edmonton. As a passionate and dedicated massage therapist, I consider this career path to be my dream job. I am committed to crafting personalized massage treatments that cater to the unique needs of each of my clients. Drawing from my expertise in both therapeutic and relaxation massage, I also enjoy incorporating essential oils to enhance the healing experience and I am trained in Raindrop Therapy. When I am not practicing massage therapy, I enjoy practicing yoga and spending time with my two feline companions.


Jib Labinghisa RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

My journey began as a client and believer in the value of good health.  Since I've known Refresh Wellness Centre, massage therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic treatment have been my healing touch. I am a fully certified massage therapist who is skilled in a variety of massage techniques such as deep tissue, relaxation, therapeutic, and hot stone massage, as well as cupping techniques.


Listening to the needs of the client and devoting my knowledge, talents, and complete understanding to serve their best interests as I assist their health and well-being.  In my free time, I participate in numerous sports and outdoor activities, such as basketball, badminton, and running, as well as hiking, climbing, and downhill long boarding. Jib is available for treatments in Wetaskiwin.


Melanie Wagner

Student Massage Therapist

As a second year massage therapy student with Alberta College of Massage Therapy, Melanie is excited for the future of her massage practice. She looks forward to continuing to learn all the ways of helping her clients achieve their personalized treatment goals.  Through her experiences with her own health struggles, she’s gained strength, wisdom and inspiration to become a massage therapist and help others navigate their wellness goals. While massage is Melanie’s first passion, she still makes time for the exploring the outdoors, creating art, writing, and her growing library.

She is available for treatments in Wetaskiwin at a discounted rate while she finishes up her schooling.

Dr. Todd Kauffeldt DC

Dr. Todd Kauffeldt graduated in 1992 from the University of Alberta with a Bachelors degree in Athletic Therapy, and then furthered his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating in 1999. He has been practicing in Wetaskiwin since 2000. Although he has a special interest in sports injuries, he treats patients from all types of backgrounds incorporating a unique whole-body approach. He takes a proactive patient-centred approach to care with the goals of reducing pain, restoring function and hopefully preventing further injury. Todd is available for treatments at our Wetaskiwin clinic.



Dr.Lynnelle Mahé DC

Dr. Lynnelle Mahé is an evidence-based and patient-centered practitioner from Beaumont,
Alberta. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Sports Studies with honours
from the University of Alberta Augustana Campus, she went on to attend the Canadian
Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating with summa cum laude. She enjoys
staying active and being in nature, whether it be hiking, biking, travelling, or sports. 
Dr. Mahé is committed to helping you feel better and providing you with the knowledge, skills,
and empowerment to prevent and manage similar issues in the future. She practices with diversified technique including adjustments and mobilizations of the spine and extremities, soft tissue therapy, exercise prescription, ergonomic assessment, taping,
custom made orthotics, lifestyle, and nutritional advice. She looks forward to being able to connect with her patients and to create a positive relationship in which they work together to reach their goals. She is available for treatment at our Leduc location.

Melissa Matiko

Fascial Stretch Therapy

Melissa is a Level 2 Frederick Stretch Therapy Practitioner certified through Stretch to Win. Melissa was introduced to FST when her horse riding coach became a certified practitioner. The method was so beneficial for Melissa's body that she chose to become certified herself. By adding assisted stretching to her fitness resume which previously included personal training and group fitness instructing, Melissa now has the joy of helping her clients maintain and improve their body's mobility. When Melissa is not doing stretch sessions with clients, she is likely either with her husband Ted, horses Bayberry & Bocelli or is in a room accompanied by at least one of their three cats (Monster, Bug & Charlie).

Office Manager

Haley has been a vital member of our team for a couple years now! She handles our day to day tasks: booking appointments, answering phones, billing insurance; basically keeping our office running smoothly! Make sure to say hi next time you are in our office!


Jackie Waniandy


Jackie joined Refresh in Leduc 3 years ago after taking a 10yr break from the corporate world to raise a family. She has a background in customer service and call centre management and is passionate about
providing clients with a first class customer service experience. Jackie loves to travel and enjoys
exploring new cities and the culinary treasures of different cultures.

Michelle Majek

Admin/Massage Therapist

Michelle has been working at Refresh since 2012. She specializes as an Orthopedic Massage Therapist, a more specific approach to therapeutic massage. Currently, due to an illness, you can find Michelle helping clients at the front desk. She hopes to be available again soon, to help clients move and feel their best. When Michelle is not at work, she is relaxing with her husband and cats or playing with her grandaughters.

Madison Westfall


Madi has been a part of the team since 2021. She helps assist in day-to-day tasks and enjoys interacting with everyone. When she's not at work, you can assume she's likely studying to achieve her bachelor of education.
